IAL sciences: IAS, A2 and complete collections
The Biology, Chemistry and Physics Summer 2026 products currently list Papers 1–6 and versions labelled 1A–6A. They offer IAS, A2, complete IAL and full-collection options. Read each bundle’s component list before purchasing, and match the labels with the codes on the supplied papers.
Standard and A versions are listed separately. An A label is a paper-version label in these products, not a grade target or an extra unit. Buying both versions gives additional practice where both are supplied; it does not mean you have to sit both as part of your qualification. Ask your teacher or centre which version fits your preparation.
Check four details before downloading
- Qualification: choose Edexcel International AS/A Level, not UK AS/A Level or Cambridge.
- Subject and component: match the paper or unit you intend to practise. Unit structures differ across subjects.
- Series and version: choose May/June or Summer 2026 and the intended standard or A option where listed.
- Files: check that the question paper and mark scheme have matching component and version labels.
The science listings advertise question-paper and mark-scheme pairs. A mark scheme is not automatically a separate worked-solution document. Other subjects may have different supporting files: check the selected option rather than carrying assumptions from another product.
Use a recent paper to diagnose, not just score
Attempt the component with the answers closed and follow the printed instructions. Mark carefully, then divide lost marks into subject knowledge, application, calculation, interpretation and timing. A total score tells you how the attempt went; the error pattern tells you what to do next.
For Biology, build explanations around scientific causes and consequences. For Chemistry, trace calculation mistakes back to the first incorrect quantity or relationship. For Physics, check the model, units and interpretation. For essay subjects, examine how evidence, application and evaluation answer the precise question.

Retest after a gap. If you have another suitable version or paper, reserve it for a later timed session. A good second result should come from applying the method, not remembering the answer to the same question. Combine recent papers with topic practice and the complete course specification.
May/June 2026 is a completed examination series. These resources can support preparation for later exams where the course still matches. They do not guarantee an upcoming examination’s questions, and they do not tell you which paper your school will choose for a mock.
