If you are sitting Edexcel GCSE Maths, this is the page to bookmark. Tyrion Papers has Edexcel GCSE Maths resources for both Higher and Foundation: May 2025 papers, November 2025 papers, 2026 predicted papers, mock sets, topic tests, shadow papers, worked solutions, examiner reports and grade-targeted practice.
The mistake most students make is simple: they only use old past papers. That helps, but it is not enough. The sharper approach is to use different resources at different points: 2025 papers for current exam style, topic tests for weak areas, mock sets for full-paper practice, predicted papers near the final stretch, then examiner reports and worked solutions to clean up lost marks.
Below is the full GCSE Maths revision map. Start with what you need most.
Get the 2025 papers first.
The May/June 2025 Edexcel GCSE Maths papers are the closest available practice to the current exam style. They are recent, relevant and useful for school mocks, predicted grades, timed practice and final exam preparation.
Both Higher and Foundation papers are available through the Edexcel GCSE Resource Finder, alongside mark schemes, worked solutions and examiner reports.
For students targeting grades 4-9. Use these under timed conditions before moving on to mock sets or predicted papers.
For students targeting grades 1-5. Best used as realistic practice before school assessments and final revision.
2026 predicted papers.
Predicted papers are for fresh practice. They are useful when you have already seen many past papers and need new exam-style questions that you cannot simply remember from a mark scheme.
Our Edexcel GCSE Mathematics 2026 predicted papers are available for both Foundation and Higher. Use them close to the exam, after you have already drilled weak topics and completed recent past papers.
For grades 1-5. Full predicted papers with mark schemes.
For grades 4-9. Full predicted papers with mark schemes.
10 Edexcel mock sets.
Mock sets are sample papers written for exam practice. They are ideal when you need full-paper training, but you do not want to keep repeating the same public past papers.
Most students only see one or two mock sets through school. Tyrion Papers lists Mock Sets 1 to 10, giving you a much bigger bank of full GCSE Maths practice.
- Edexcel GCSE Maths Mock Sets 1 to 5 โ the main bundle for building a large exam-practice base.
- Mock Set 6, Mock Set 7, Mock Set 8 and Mock Set 9 โ newer full mock practice.
- Edexcel GCSE Maths Mock Set 10 โ the freshest set listed.
Topic tests.
Topic tests are for finding weak areas quickly. Instead of sitting a whole paper and discovering late that algebra, vectors or trigonometry is the problem, you can attack one topic at a time.
These are especially useful 4-8 weeks before the exam, while there is still enough time to fix specific weaknesses.
Use these to drill Foundation topics in a focused way, without wasting time on a full paper.
Good for Higher students who need targeted practice on the topics that keep costing marks.
Aiming for grade 7, 8 or 9?
Once you are already secure on the basics, the aim changes. You need the harder, mark-separating questions: multi-step algebra, proof, vectors, advanced geometry, tricky ratio, functions and the questions that punish careless working.
Use the grade-targeted practice papers to drill the level you are trying to reach.
Shadow papers and Emporium content.
Shadow papers are designed to mirror real exam papers in structure, style and difficulty. They are useful once you have already worked through the main past papers and want more realistic full-paper practice.
The Maths Emporium bundle is another large bank of Edexcel-style material, including practice sets, topic papers and shadow papers.
- Edexcel GCSE Maths Shadow Papers 2023-2024 โ extra full-paper style practice for Higher and Foundation.
- Edexcel GCSE Maths Official Emporium Stuff โ practice sets, topic papers and shadow papers in one place.
- Higher and Foundation Practice Paper Sets 23 + 24 โ extra non-official practice papers for more volume.
Solutions and examiner reports.
A paper without proper marking is only half useful. The real improvement comes after the paper: checking the method, spotting why marks were lost and correcting the repeated mistakes.
Worked solutions show the method. Examiner reports show what students commonly got wrong. Use both.

- Step 1: Use topic tests to identify weak areas.
- Step 2: Sit the May 2025 papers under timed conditions.
- Step 3: Mark using worked solutions and examiner reports.
- Step 4: Use mock sets for full-paper stamina and exam timing.
- Step 5: Use shadow papers and Emporium content when you need more realistic full papers.
- Step 6: Save 2026 predicted papers for the final stretch, when you need fresh unseen practice.
Frequently asked questions
Are the Edexcel GCSE Maths 2025 papers available?
Yes. The Edexcel GCSE Maths Higher May 2025 papers and schemes and the Foundation May 2025 papers and schemes are listed in the Edexcel GCSE Resource Finder.
Should I use the 2025 papers before predicted papers?
Usually, yes. The 2025 papers are the most recent real exam papers, so they are a strong starting point. Predicted papers are better saved for later, once you have already used recent papers and know your weak areas.
Are the predicted papers for Higher or Foundation?
Both are available. There is an Edexcel GCSE Maths Higher 2026 predicted paper set and an Edexcel GCSE Maths Foundation 2026 predicted paper set.
What should I use if I keep losing marks on one topic?
Use the Exam Wizard topic tests. They let you practise one topic repeatedly instead of waiting for that topic to appear inside a full paper.
What should I use if I am aiming for grade 7, 8 or 9?
Use the grade-targeted practice papers after you have secured the main content. These are designed for the higher-difficulty questions that separate upper grades.
